How to open a image in adobe photoshop
*Go to ‘file’ in the menu
*In the file menu go to ‘browse’
* you can also use the option ‘open’ in the file menu
* There is another way to open an image in adobe photoshop. Just right click on the image and select ‘open with’ and choose adobe photoshop.
* now ur open image is looked like that ( fig 102)

Resize or zoom any picture in adobe photoshop
*There are two ways to zoom any picture
* click the zoom button as shown in the picture, now click anywhere on the picture. Number of times you click the picture, it zoom. If you want to zoom out then select the negative sign from the upper left side and again click the picture. Now ur picture become smaller on every click.
* You can also use the slidebar as shown in the picture. Using this tool it is very easy to resize the picture.( fig 103)

Cut and join the pictures in adobe photoshop
These are the most useful tools in adobe photoshop
*Open two different pictures in adobe photoshop as shown in fig. look at the selected zoom tools in the picture. In the fig only two tools are shown and others are hidden. If you want to access other cutting tools then click the small black triangle( pointed by red arrows) on right bottom side of tools( fig 104)
*Right click the upper cutting tool and select “rectangular marquee Tool”.
*Mark the portion of the image you want to cut.
*Your marked image is looked like that( fig 105)
*Press the contol C( ctrl) button on the keyboard and drag drop the marked portion of the image to the another image.
* now your joined image become (106)

How to resize the cutting portion of the image
*press V from keyboard( or click the move tool in the tool bar)
*right click on the cutted portion
*select the first option which comes after right click
* now you can see that you can move the selected portion anywhere on the image
*press ‘ctrl+ T’ and ur image is selected. You can resize it in two ways
* first method is simply write the zoom size in W & H boxes as shown in fig 107. Where I uses 125%.
*second method is you can resize the picture with the help of mouse. Select the border dots on the image and strech it to any direction

How to cut selected image in adobe photoshop
*just remember all the previous steps to rectangular marquee tool.
*select the magnetic lasso tool as shown in fig 109.
*left click of ur mouse from where u want to start marking. Move the cursor across the boundry of the mickey mouse. U will see that the image is automatic selected. If ur image is wrongly selected then press backspace key from your keyboard. It will deselected some portion. Now again start selecting portion by clicking some more left clicks.
*complete ur selected area in loop. If it is not completing automatically then take a double click.
*now press ctrl key and drag drop that image on the another image

How to join many pictures into a single picture in adobe photoshop
*copy paste all the pictures into a single folder. Place it anywhere on ur computer.
Just in fig 111
*click browse and select that folder
* mark it “include all subfolder”
*press ok and ur contact sheet will be ready as in fig 112.
You can choose how many pictures you want to join into one picture by setting the rows and coloum box. Product of these is the number of pictures u can add into single picture as shown in fig 113

Saving the images in adobe photoshop
*There are different formats for saving the picture.
*Best quality format for saving the picture is jpeg format.
*After saving the picture in this format, you cannot change that picture further.
*If you want to make that picture which u want to modify later. Like adding some text, deleting some text then you have to save the image in ‘ photoshop(*.PSD,*.PDD)’ format.
